How to modify the date of your ride¶

Q:

I changed the battery in my Powertap CPU a couple of days ago and forgot to set the date & time with the result
that this mornings ride is dated 3 Jan 2006 after the download. :-(

Is there any way to fix the date in GC?

A:

In the About dialog is the path to your ride files.
Open up file explorer, Finder, shell.. whatever your OS uses to modify files and find the file
with 2006_01_03_XX_XX_XX.* (XX is Minute, Hour, Second) and then rename all the files that fit that date to the date you like.
Then restart GC and your ride should be there with the correct date.
Your other option is to simply take those files out of your Library folder, restart GC and then drag and drop your .raw
file with the incorrect date into and GC will pop up a dialog that asks you to set the date..
