How do I setup the fields and tabs for fields like workout code or sport¶
In the Options/Preferences panel for GC (tools options, or preferences on a Mac) you select Settings->Ride Data. Here you can define screens and fields and their associated types. If the column 'screen tab' is blank the field will not be displayed.
There are a number of 'special fields' which have a pre-defined meaning. You do not have to use them, but they may be useful to some users, they are:- Athlete - the athlete name (corresponds to the directory name)
- Change History - log of changes made to file (updated when you save).
- Device Info - If the ride file has device information it is stored in here
- Dropouts - Used by Tools->Fix Gaps to count samples missing in gaps
- Dropout Time - User by Tools->Fix Gaps to count time elapsed in gaps
- Filename - The full path name for the file
- GPS errors - Used by Tools->Fix GPS to record errors
- Keywords - reserved for 'tagging' rides
- Objective - Used by the PWX file reader to store from PWX ridefile format
- Spikes - Used by Tools->Fix Spikes to count the number of spikes in a file
- Spike Time - Used by Tools->Fix Spikes to record the time elapsed during spikes
- Sport - Used by the WKO file reader to store the WKO+Sport field
- Start Date - The date the ride started
- Start Time - The time of day the ride started
- Temperature - Used by the BIN ride file reader to store from Joule files
- Torque Adjust - Used by Tools->Torque Adjust to record changes applied to Nm data series
- Weight - Used by many file formats to store athlete weight
- Workout Code - Used by WKO file format ride file reader
