How do I import files from a Garmin edge device.¶

After connecting your Garmin device to your computer locate the USB Mass storage drive associated with it. Ride files are found in the "activities" directory. With the 6/705 the .tcx files can be imported into Golden Cheetah (either through Ride->import, or by dragging files onto the main window). The Garmin 500 and 800 use .fit format files which can be imported in the same manner.
